"The greatest risks are never the ones you can see and measure, but the ones you can’t see and therefore can never measure. The ones that seem so far outside the boundary of normal probability that you can’t imagine they could happen in your lifetime—even though, of course, they do happen, more often than you care to realize." ― Charles Wheelan

About me

My volunteer account is User:KCVelaga. I had spent most of my initial years on English Wikipedia and a bit of Wikidata. I organized several outreach activities in India, and a few iterations of Wiki Loves Monuments globally. Currently, I spend majority of my volunteer time with Indic MediaWiki Developers User Group and contributing to Wikimedia Commons.

My work

I am on the Product Analytics team, and providing analytics support to Moderator Tools, Language Engineering and Community Tech teams.

Previously, I worked with the with the Global Data and Insights Team focusing on community data in combination with product metrics. Before switching my work area, I served on the Movement Strategy and Governance team for community facilitation in the South Asian region.
